Sprint-BlackBerry-Q10The Blackberry Q10 finally launches with Sprint. It wasn’t too long ago where majority of the mobile world and average consumers alike felt that the Blackberry was to go the way of the Palm. In the recent past Blackberry has struggled to stay afloat and make modern, or more aptly put, desirable handsets and tablets. Since the dawn of the slate styled smart phone the once industry leading Blackberry has been a day late and a dollar short on nearly every piece of hardware they put forth. Blackberry 10, the company’s new operating system was to breathe a fresh breath of air into the rather stale operating system and it did just that. Back in January Blackberry announced the Z10 and the Q10. The Z10 made its way around the world and the Q10 is slowly showing up on more and more carriers, the latest to be graced with the QWERTY lover’s dream, Sprint.

The Blackberry Q10 while not the flagship that lead the Blackberry 10 revolution, it is the device that hardcore Blackberry users have dreamt of. Early in the year the company formally known as RIM took to the stage and announced their new OS and two different handsets, the Z10 and the Q10. While the all touch screen Z10 took center stage and the Q10 was seemingly more of an afterthought, all of those interested wanted know more about the keyboard centric Blackberry. The Q10 was initially scheduled to release approximately 8 to 10 weeks after the Z10 here in the states. Today new details of a Sprint bound Blackberry Q10 confirm its launch for August 30th. The device is currently being sold by both At&t and Verizon and in just a few days, the Now Network will be all caught up. Late last month leaky rumors gave the world insight into the August 30th launch and it seems that information was spot on.  The Q10 under the yellow clad carrier will run you about $200 bucks under the terms of a new contract. While it may seem a bit high, that is the going rate for higher end smart phones, but keep in mind that it will most likely not stay at that price point for long. Check out all the Q10 has to offer and let us know what you think.
